<p> Pearls is an online tool that facilitates the learning and project design 
                process of Computer Clubhouse members by enabling them to explore 
                complex or abstract concepts in smaller pieces which are easier 
                to assimilate. An individual Pearl is a small, manageable bit 
                of meaningful information that has defining characteristics: 1) 
                each contains one core concept or a part of a more complex concept; 
                2) each can be used as a building material for forming more complex 
                capabilities; and 3) each can, on its own, help you to create 
                something interesting. Within the Clubhouse environment, Pearls 
                provide a multi-level access portal to project design and offer 
                a flexible and general design tool, which is available "upon request." 
                The goal is to evolve and support a community of learners who 
                share their knowledge with each other and reflect on their own 
                individual learning process.</p>
