Volunteer in Community Projects
The Lifelong Kindergarten group works with many community-based after-school centers, helping young people from low-income communities learn to express themselves creatively with new technologies.

Volunteering as a mentor at one of these centers can make a big difference in a young person's life, serve as a rewarding personal experience for you, and also help you become more familiar with ideas and technologies from the Lifelong Kindergarten group.

The Computer Clubhouse network, co-founded by the Lifelong Kindergarten group, has expanded to more than 100 sites in 20 countries. To learn about opportunities for mentoring at a Computer Clubhouse, visit the volunteer pages on the Clubhouse website.

In the Boston area, there are opportunities for volunteering at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and the South End Technology Center.

Volunteer opportunities within the Lifelong Kindergarten group itself are generally limited to university students in the Boston area. If you have ideas about how you would like to contribute, contact us.
